Specifically, we had a complete overhaul of our technology and added more teams to work together for a more seamless ABBC experience to our beloved supporters.

A Complete Revamp of ABBC Blockchain

First on our list of updates is the recent migration of our current mainnet into a completely new one. Developed in partnership with New York-based blockchain and security development firm DeepDive.Tech, we have specifically designed our mainnet to scale infinitely faster than the previous one. According to the ABBC Development Team, we can now easily handle up to 5,000 transactions per second. This makes ABBC’s new mainnet one of the fastest available blockchains in the world.

To make this possible, we are also changing our consensus protocol. From the previous hybrid combination of Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS), ABBC will now be using Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS). Through this, transactions on our nodes can be confirmed with ease, thereby streamlining the overall consensus process which leads to faster confirmations.

A World-Class Transactional Blockchain

Also, we now have a globally distributed, highly available, and highly responsive network. ABBC CEO Jason Philip didn’t go into details in discussing this, but he said that with all these updates rolling out almost instantaneously, they are expecting ABBC to become a “world-class transactional blockchain overnight.” ABBC will also be releasing a whitepaper shortly which will fully detail these significant technological enhancements which are now in production.

Aladdin Wallet Overhaul

As if upgrading our mainnet was not enough, the team also decided to rebuild the Aladdin Wallet from the ground up to ensure that ABBC was poised with a world-class, next-generation platform. Aside from ABBC Coin, the wallet now allows users to make transactions with a plethora of other cryptocurrencies, most notably supporting 1,600 ERC-20 tokens right out of the gate. We will also be adding support for additional token types in the near future.

One of the most exciting items to be discussed was that of the actual blockchain migration and the immense level of effort put in by DeepDive to ensure an absolutely painless migration for ABBC’s users. The great news is that users will not have to suffer through the rigorous process of migrating their crypto assets from one wallet to another, which has become commonplace during migrations of this type. As you will quickly see, the Generation 2 Aladdin Wallet only requires users to enter in the email address that they used to configure their previous wallet, and click on the one-time-use link to submit a migration request. From there, ABBC will approve the transaction and the user’s funds will be instantly migrated to the new Aladdin Wallet.

The wallet will be available for download on Android, iOS, and desktop.

Ensuring A Fun Crypto Shopping Experience With Buyaladdin

As we eagerly await for Buyaladdin to go live later this year, our team early on recognized the need to upgrade all other components of our ABBC ecosystem to make sure that there will not be any unnecessary issues that we would deal with for the next couple of months. Furthermore, we are expecting the shopping platform to cater to over 100 million shoppers, and we do not want to disappoint any of our users, especially those who have been supporting us from the very start.

As mentioned earlier, we will also be revamping our ABBC Coin whitepaper soon to document the recent changes that we have implemented on our blockchain and crypto wallet.

Stay tuned for more updates.
